Popcorn is my favorite high-volume snack because I can feel full without eating to many calories, and it’s a great source of fiber.
This is less of a recipe and more of a tip. We tested these silicone popcorn makers at my office, and it worked like a charm!
The best part? You don’t need to use any oil, so you can enjoy all the benefits of popcorn without the added fat and oil.

Ingredients
Servings: 2-3 cups popped
- 30g popcorn kerels
- Optional:
- Salt, or popcorn seasoning
Instructions
- Add the popcorn to the silicone popcorn maker.
- Pop in the microwave for ~2 minutes, or until the popping stops.
- Every microwave is different, so I recommend starting with 90 seconds, and adding more time from there, to avoid burning the kernels.
- Once all the kernels are popped, toss the popcorn in a bowl, season to your liking, and enjoy!
